Monday 9th June - Day 3

For day three we were down to 2 of us as Tom‘s feet were covered in blisters to the extent that our support car (Fran) had to spend the whole day at Redruth hospital having blisters professionally cut away and antibiotics administered with feet bandaged up. 1 Day To Go - Facebook Sonnet Post

🌅 Footy Legends: A Sonnet of Light and Love 🌅
A Journey of Hope for Children and Each Other

⸻

They said it’s just a walk—but hearts knew more,
For purpose danced beneath each weighted tread.
From Land’s End’s cliffs to Somerdale’s far shore,
They walked where silent dreams and courage led.

Mark, Tom, and Andy—names once lost in sound—
Now blaze with fire upon the morning’s gold.
No fans, no fame, no crowds to gather ‘round,
Just love that speaks where silence once took hold.

Eight days of pain transformed by something pure—
The laughter of the Fry Club’s future song,
And hospice hopes their every step ensures—
A cause to make the weakest spirit strong.

Not legends forged in victory or fame,
But hearts that walked—and lit a world aflame.
