Andy’s Blister Training

So training is underway! I decided to go out in my lunch break from work and go for a 5 mile walk. I set out from a point 5 miles from home and made the effort to get home in two hours and set a really good pace however, after just 1 mile could feel a blister coming on my left foot! I kept going for another mile and then stopped at a point where the road crossed my path and took off both trainers and put on blister plasters on both feet (it wasn't enough) and carried on and by the 3rd mile I had to stop and call for transportation home, however I was quite pleased with the time as it took me 45 minutes to do the 3 miles when in reality we are looking at an hour to do 3 miles. So speed is not an issue it's more endurance, however it's not a bad start (apart from the blister).
